Blair + William outside Mount Vernon.
The Story
The hills around Mount Vernon roll harder than most of Iowa, and Blair and William's farm wedding sat right on top of them.
Twenty minutes from Cedar Rapids, the land changes: the flat opens into ridge lines, and the light gets theatrical in the evenings. Blair and William married on a farm out here, with the ceremony facing west for exactly that reason.
Their gallery moves the way the day did: morning quiet in the farmhouse, vows in open air, and a long golden hour across the ridgelines that gave us portrait light most city venues would pay for.
